24 days agoInsta-PostsComments Off on Braised Lotus Root maybe it doesnt look as shiny as Maangchi’s but it surely taste good! i dont have white sugar at home so i use melado (a type of cane syrup common here in Brazil). and i added some chili powder as well for some kick talvez isso não pareça tão brilhante como o de Maangchi, mas certamente provará bem! não tenho açúcar branco em casa, então uso melado (um tipo de xarope de cana comum aqui no Brasil). e adicionei um pouquinho pimenta em pó também
29 days agoInsta-PostsComments Off on vegan hot dogs for iftaar. we dont eat much during iftaar – just 1 or 2 simple snacks with a cup of tea or coffee. and then, we will have late dinner at around 11pm, which also served as our sehri. we usually go to sleep at 4am-5am and wake up around 11am-12pm. this is our usual eating and sleeping routine outside of ramadhan too, so didnt feel much difference, apart from the water intake. here, fajr is at 5.33am and maghrib is at 5.35pm.
