8 days agoInsta-PostsComments Off on stir-fried konnyaku with green peppers and tomatoes. i figured to get a nice textured and yummy tasting konnyaku dish is to cook it a tad bit longer than usual. let the konnyaku absorbed all the liquid and give it time to caramelised.
17 days agoInsta-PostsComments Off on if there is such thing about being in love with a fruit – i’m absolutely in love with ripe avocado. truly deeply madly. everytime i first touch an avocado and after a few press, realised it’s ripe, my heart start palpitating. its like i found love! ozzie said my eyes started twinkling and im all smiles. i couldnt let go of it. and he has no choice but to let me take it home. and what happen afterwards is explosive! with some help of pink salt, chili powder and olive oil – im all ooohhhh and aaaaahhhh

20 days agoInsta-PostsComments Off on collards from the garden for dinner tonight. since adapting a low carb lifestyle few months back, i feel like ive been eating too much meat in replacement of carbs. of cos going less carbs making me feel good physically – i feel more energetic eventhough im less hungrier, which means less eating. but eating too much meat (in my opinion) is really disturbing. i feel emotionally down since i am conscious about what im putting in my body. and i dont feel good thinking an animal’s life had to end so i can fill my tummy. so now im trying to go low carb with vegetarian options which is challenging, but not impossible. i think i rather add more carbs (with beans and lentils) to my body than consume more meats.
