Carnaval is here again!! after 6 months of traveling since we left Curitiba august last year and the recent 20days at the festival in the nature – we just decided to take Carnaval slow this year and stay back in Curitiba, which is known to be the worst place in Brasil to celebrate Carnaval. but we had fun last night. less crazy people but it was not that bad

konyaku balls with wakame. konyaku/konjac for the root and heart, wakame for the throat and black pepper for the third-eye. sea-plants, which are rich in minerals from the sea are excellant sources of nourishments for the throat chakra. one of the important nutrient is iodine, which plays are role in proper functioning of the thyroid gland. also, as throat chakra is ethereal in nature, its jobs is to link together the elements of the lower chakras and bring them together within foods. in this case, sea-plants like wakame have the elements of both earth and water – strengthening the connection between root and sacral chakras. and the throat is acting as an anchor to these lower chakras.

im not sorry that my foods are not pretentious or i didnt set up the table or the foods to be Instagram-worthy. but these, i made them with love and positive vibrations, from my heart. i nourish my body with this good karma energy. *whole-wheat pasta with minced soya and green peppers. *lettuce and carrots with olive oil and chimichuri mixed spices *avocado with pink salt and chili flakes *sweet papaya protein for my root, fats for my sacral and carbohydrate for my solar plexus, greens and love for my heart, salt for my throat and dark cacao for my third-eye. finish with water for my crown. all are equally important, but of cos for some there are one or two more chakras that need more push to reach the balance, hence you will need to nourish that particular chakra(s) more. and foods are valuable in fusing the connection between body and soul – through its physical and vibrational qualities.
